Conducts research on organizations within a specific industry in order to make recommendations regarding investment strategy. Stays abreast of trends and news within an industry, such as filings, mergers and acquisitions, competitive position, and financial stability of organizations. Requires a bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
