Job Description for Top Business Development Executive

Plans and directs all aspects of an organization's business development policies, objectives, and initiatives. Responsible for developing new market initiatives, assessing new markets, and analyzing business opportunities. Conducts financial feasibility studies and develops proposals for new business opportunities. May also be accountable for licensing initiatives and programs; duties include negotiating contracts, initiating proposals, and closing deals. Requires a bachelor's degree with at least 15 years of experience in the field. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
