Job Description for Top Environmental, Health and Safety Executive

Oversees organizational compliance with local, state and federal environment, health and safety regulations. Represents the organization in external affairs related to the environment or environmental legislation. Ensures compliance with all environmental, health and safety regulations, and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization. Requires a bachelor's degree and at least 15 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complex tasks. Leads and directs the work of others.
