Job Description for Top Geology Executive

Plans and oversees all aspects of the geology department's policies, objectives, and initiatives. Responsible for the management of the geology department staff and the operation of geophysical programs. Approves work procedures and standards for the business units and ensures consistent implementation of the process. Requires a bachelor's/master's degree and at least 15 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.
