Job Description for Top Group Underwriting Executive New Search   
Oversees all aspects of an organization's group underwriting function. Responsible for planning and directing all group underwriting procedures which includes actuarial factors, rating methods, and customer financial condition analysis. Works with top management to develop business strategy on product lines. Requires a bachelor's degree with at least 15 years of experience in the field. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to Top Underwriting Executive.
