Job Description for Top Life Underwriting Executive New Search   
Oversees all aspects of an organization's life underwriting function. Responsible for planning and directing all life underwriting procedures. Works with top management to develop business strategy on product lines. Stays abreast of medical guidelines, legislative and compliance processes which affects life insurance policies. Requires a bachelor's degree with at least 15 years of experience in the field. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to Top Underwriting Executive.
