Job Description for Top Underwriting Executive

Oversees all aspects of an organization's underwriting function. Responsible for planning and directing all underwriting procedures. Directs the various underwriting function of the organization that might include, life, group, and property & casualty. Requires a bachelor's degree with at least 15 years of experience in the field. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.
