Job Description for Traffic Supervisor III New Search   
Supervises employees who make deliveries to and from specified locations. Oversees all transportation activities including route delivery and account processing. Schedules drivers and assigns routes to maximize productivity and ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company rules. A level III supervisor has full authority and may be considered lower middle management. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty or a CDL license. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
