Printing Services Supervisor supervises high-volume copying, printing, and finishing operations. Monitors production processes to fulfill jobs for document duplication, printing, finishing, binding, lamination, and other processes. Being a Printing Services Supervisor inspects the set up required for each job for accuracy. Assists with troubleshooting and resolution of any equipment problems or malfunctions. Additionally, Printing Services Supervisor performs quality checks on work in process and finished jobs to avoid errors or waste. Trains operators on standard procedures for machine set-up, operation, maintenance, completed job preparation, and work order tracking. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Printing Services Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Printing Services Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.
