Develops probability tables regarding fire, natural disasters, death, unemployment, etc. based on analysis of statistical data and other pertinent information. Incumbents typically have achieved an Associate, Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience.
