Job Description

Calibration Technician II assembles, calibrates and maintains various instruments and equipment that measure heat, light, voltage, amperage, weight, vacuum, magnetic resistance, etc. Carries out reliability and performance tests on equipment and makes adjustments required to adhere to government, industry, and organizational standards. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Being a Calibration Technician II typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Calibration Technician II gains or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Works under moderate supervision.
