Physical Therapy Director Salary in District of Columbia

Physical Therapy Director directs and oversees the programs and staff of the physical therapy division and/or clinic. Evaluates current physical therapy programs and researches potential new or revised therapy programs to improve the quality of patient care. Being a Physical Therapy Director develops and implements physical therapy policies, objectives, and initiatives. Reviews operational procedures to ensure standards meet regulatory compliance and follow industry best practices. Additionally, Physical Therapy Director sets and implements guidelines for physical therapy programs. Monitors patient progress and treatment plans. Requires a doctorate degree in physical therapy. Requires Certified Physical Therapist (CPT). Requires Licensed Physical Therapist (LPT). Typically reports to senior management.
