Job Description for Volunteer Services Director

Volunteer Services Director designs, plans, and directs a volunteer program to attract, inspire, train, and deploy volunteers. Establishes the procedures for recruiting, interviewing, and hiring volunteer workers. Being a Volunteer Services Director collaborates with other departments to evaluate company needs. Monitors and oversees volunteer schedules to ensure activities meet the company or project objectives. Additionally, Volunteer Services Director serves as a resource and point of contact for managers and supervisors to resolve or clarify issues or questions. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Volunteer Services Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity.
