Hotel Manager manages all aspects of the hotel property including operations, staffing, and customer satisfaction. Responsible for maximizing operational efficiency and profitability. Being a Hotel Manager monitors all operating costs, budgets, and forecasts. Oversees property maintenance and appearances. Additionally, Hotel Manager may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Hotel Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget.
