CAE Design Director Salary in Reno, Nevada

Directs and oversees CAE technical and team capability to support product, component, or structure design. Provides expertise and technical leadershipfor benchmarking, concept design, prototype development, simulation, testing protocols, and optimization utilizing CAE design and analysis techniques and tools. Develops and optimizes CAE methodology, including guidelines and standards, to increase design process efficiency. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering. Typically reports to senior management. Manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.
