Job Description

The Business Continuance/Disaster Recovery Senior Analyst performs risk management analysis and documents disaster recovery plans. Implements and supports the policies, procedures, and programs that ensure the recovery, security, and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology in the event of a disruption or unanticipated disaster. Being a Business Continuance/Disaster Recovery Senior Analyst develops and executes testing processes to validate the disaster recovery plans and identify the plans' weaknesses and failure points. Identifies and secures the necessary off-site resources required for the organization's resumption plan. In addition, Business Continuance/Disaster Recovery Senior Analyst confirms all action plans are documented, communicated, and understood by all stakeholders in the organization. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Being a Business Continuance/Disaster Recovery Senior Analyst work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Working as a Business Continuance/Disaster Recovery Senior Analyst typically requires 4 -7 years of related experience.
