Job Description

Manages production scheduling activities in an organization. Designs and implements the production schedule plan considering all aspects of production include low cost, timeliness, and effectiveness. Monitors the materials inventories, tracking of progress of production, and reviewing of factors which affect production schedules. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complex tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.
