Product/Brand Management Director directs and oversees all aspects of a product's lifecycle to ensure profitability and increase brand presence and awareness. Develops and executes product initiatives to align with greater organizational strategy and direction. Being a Product/Brand Management Director designs product roadmap to detail technical requirements, features, and timelines throughout its lifecycle. Defines performance metrics to measure and assess the success of a product. Additionally, Product/Brand Management Director understands market trends, customer behavior, and new technologies to improve existing products or identify potential new offerings. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Product/Brand Management Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.
