Job Description

Analyzes accounts receivable transactions to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. Maintains and reconciles accounts receivable ledger and prepares management reports, including reports of delinquent accounts. Analyzes trends in bad debts and recommends improvements to accounts receivable policies and procedures. May be responsible for ad hoc customer billing and responding to customer inquiries regarding bills. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in related area or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.
