Emergency Unit Technician Salary in Alaska

The Emergency Unit Technician prepares patients for physician examination. Provides clinical and administrative support to emergency department staff. Being an Emergency Unit Technician provides wound care and assists with splints, slings, casts, and crutches. Measures and records vital signs, performs EKGs, and collects lab samples as needed. In addition, Emergency Unit Technician cleans, inspects, and sets up emergency rooms and equipment. Requires a high school diploma. Requires CPR/BLS Certification.
