Job Description
The On Site Construction Manager I is responsible for handling client contact and obtaining client approval. Manages all on-site activities for small to mid-sized construction projects. Being an On Site Construction Manager I requires a bachelor's degree. Ensures that projects are completed on schedule, according to contractual conditions, and within budget. In addition, On Site Construction Manager I typically reports to a Construction Manager. The On Site Construction Manager I manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. Working as an On Site Construction Manager I typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required.
