The Building & Grounds Maintenance Supervisor II oversees landscaping activities, the maintenance of sidewalks and parking areas, and the removal of trash and snow. Supervises and trains building and grounds maintenance staff. Being a Building & Grounds Maintenance Supervisor II may be responsible for the housekeeping staff. Maintains and monitors the operation of all utility systems such as heating, ventilating and air conditioning. Building & Grounds Maintenance Supervisor II, a level II supervisor has authority for personnel actions and oversees most day to day operations of group. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Building & Grounds Maintenance Supervisor II supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision.
