Job Description

The Director of Sales Analysis & Forecasting deploys CRM and other systems to manage customer and activity data. Develops and directs the sales data analysis function to deliver reporting and tools to sales teams and management that ensure effective sales execution and the achievement of growth objectives. Being a Director of Sales Analysis & Forecasting directs research efforts to understand market conditions and competitors. Develops monitoring and methodologies to analyze sales metrics and to provide insights, support decisions, and highlight areas for process improvement. In addition, Director of Sales Analysis & Forecasting may enable training activities that will ensure sales teams understand and effectively utilize systems and reporting resources. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Director of Sales Analysis & Forecasting manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Working as a Director of Sales Analysis & Forecasting typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.
