Manages and administers all aspects of student financial aid program. Being an University Financial Aid Director has knowledge of available private, state, and federal financial aid programs. Instructs students and parents on the application for loans or scholarships. In addition, University Financial Aid Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a senior institutional officer. The University Financial Aid Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget.
