The Drill Operator ensures that all crew are at the rig and ready to work at scheduled time. Responsible for operation of the rig, crew, and equipment and for ensuring customer satisfaction with all services rendered. Being a Drill Operator maintains a safe working environment and ensures compliance of applicable regulations and policies. Maintains productivity standards for all rig functions. In addition, Drill Operator may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
