The Stationary Power Engineer II ensures that equipment is operating safely and within established limits. Operates, repairs, and maintains stationary equipment including boilers, generators, refrigeration, and turbines in buildings, plants or industrial facilities. Being a Stationary Power Engineer II performs preventative maintenance and documents completed procedures. Conducts monitoring and failure analysis of meters, gauges and controls to determine the need for repair or replacement of parts. In addition, Stationary Power Engineer II requires a high school diploma. Requires applicable Stationary Engineer's license for the state and EPA Universal certification. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Being a Stationary Power Engineer II works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Working as a Stationary Power Engineer II typically requires 1-3 years of related experience, or may need 0 years of experience with additional specialized training and/or certification.
