Manages corrosion control programs and operations to ensure pipeline and equipment integrity. Oversees cathodic protection programs, pigging operations, projects, and inspection processes. Provides technical subject matter expertise for engineering processes, corrosion prevention, mitigation techniques, and coatings technology. Reviews specifications, designs, and work plans for cathodic protection program implementations. Maintains monitoring systems to ensure regulatory compliance, quality standards, and safe working practices. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent. Requires a valid Driver's license. Typically reports to a director. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.
