Job Description

Tests, monitors, installs and maintains cathodic protection systems used to control corrosion on pipelines, tanks, and other structures. Follow SOP to conduct surveys, collect data and measurements, and prepare documentation and sketches of sites. Reads and interprets maps, GPS data, drawings, and specifications used to install cathodic protection systems and equipment. Inspects, repairs, tests, and troubleshoots systems and equipment in the field. Follows all required safety and compliance procedures. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to supervisor. Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.
