Job Description
Performs basic computer aided design (CAD) drafting support. Creates preliminary drafting files from notes or sketches, assists engineers and designers with the completion of drawings, and executes basic CAD file modification. Communicates with engineers and designers to aid in the completion of projects. Helps transform initial rough product designs into working documents using CAD software. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline.
