Plans, analyzes, designs and modifies EHR (electronic health record) software applications, including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support an organization's EHR application systems. Being an EHR Application Analyst III typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty, Epic/Cerner or similar certification. May be expected to write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections. In addition, EHR Application Analyst III typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Working as an EHR Application Analyst III typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.
