The Senior Production Painter mixes paints and other solutions and monitors drying to ensure desired results. Operates a spray painter or other equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metals or products. Being a Senior Production Painter follows all required safety procedures. Completes finishing with baking, polishing or other materials. In addition, Senior Production Painter may paint items by hand as needed. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to supervisor/manager. May require an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Being a Senior Production Painter has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function.
