The Retail & Commercial Automotive/Tire Store Manager develops strategies to improve customer service, drive store sales, and increase profitability. Plans and directs the day-to-day operations of a tire store/center that markets to both retail and commercial clients. Being a Retail & Commercial Automotive/Tire Store Manager hires and manages store personnel. Ensures customer needs are met, complaints are resolved, and service is quick and efficient. In addition, Retail & Commercial Automotive/Tire Store Manager may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to top management. The Retail & Commercial Automotive/Tire Store Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes.
