The Manufacturing Process Engineering Manager is responsible for operational excellence via efficient plant design. Manages a team responsible for the design and implementation of manufacturing processes, equipment, or plants. Being a Manufacturing Process Engineering Manager manages all engineering projects and resolves engineering problems. Ensures continuous improvement in process, cost, quality and production. In addition, Manufacturing Process Engineering Manager requires a bachelor's degree of engineering. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Manufacturing Process Engineering Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
