May perform other clerical duties including taking photographs, fingerprints, and answering telephone inquiries. In addition, Criminal Justice Records Clerk typically reports to police sergeant or police lieutenant. Being a Criminal Justice Records Clerk possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.
