The Cloud Computing Analyst V develops and modifies scalable architecture to support applications and infrastructure on IaaS and PaaS platforms. Assists in the design and management of an organization's cloud systems, applications, policies, and strategy. Being a Cloud Computing Analyst V incorporates security management and privacy requirements into cloud hardware, software, and applications. Evaluates and identifies the best cloud solutions for the organization. In addition, Cloud Computing Analyst V designs controls and processes that utilize available audit tools. Maintains up-to-date and extensive knowledge of cloud products and technology. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. May require attainment of a certification like Certified Cloud Architect that is specific to a vendor or platform. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Being a Cloud Computing Analyst V works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.
