The Clinical Outcomes Data and Metrics Analysis Manager oversees staff who gather data on performance metrics and facilitates the review of program effectiveness. Manages collection and analysis of clinical outcomes data in order to develop clinical process improvement initiatives. Being a Clinical Outcomes Data and Metrics Analysis Manager requires a bachelor's/master's degree, current RN license, or a related area. Evaluates patient care data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. In addition, Clinical Outcomes Data and Metrics Analysis Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Clinical Outcomes Data and Metrics Analysis Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
