Ensures proper configuration and set-up of the EDI tools and systems that support file transfer between internal and external trading partners. Being an EDI Specialist II coordinates trading partner implementations and conducts EDI testing. Documents processes, data flow, file specifications, and mapping using standard formats. Additionally, EDI Specialist II may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The EDI Specialist II occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.
