Mergers and Acquisitions Director Salary in the United States

Develops and executes the evaluation, financial, and operational strategy for mergers, acquisitions, and divestiture projects. Advises and evaluates deal rationale, financial projections, risk assessment, and financial implications. Oversees due diligence, financial planning, scoping, negotiations, closing, and integration. Plans and implements a negotiation strategy and leads the negotiations with stakeholders. Requires a MBA or equivalent. Typically reports to top management.
