The Business Process Analyst V collects and studies operational and performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Researches, analyzes, and recommends changes to an organization's business processes to improve operational efficiencies, quality, service, and profitability. Being a Business Process Analyst V creates flowcharts, process maps, and diagrams. Develops process documentation and project plans. In addition, Business Process Analyst V supports cross-functional activities and working sessions during projects' design and implementation phases. Designs and prepares documentation, training materials, and communications supporting new processes. May deliver training to impacted business units. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Being a Business Process Analyst V works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.
