Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects involving the planning, design, and implementation of EHR (electronic health record) software applications. Being an Electronic Health Record Project Implementation Manager builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. In addition, Electronic Health Record Project Implementation Manager prepares project status reports. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Requires Epic, Cerner, or similar product certification.Typically reports to Manager or Head of a Unit/Department.
