The Specialist Quality Control Inspector inspects materials, parts, and products at different stages of production to ensure compliance with company standards. Performs various quality control inspections, checks, and tests of products during the manufacturing process. Being a Specialist Quality Control Inspector identifies, communicates, and assists in the resolution of quality related issues. Compiles, interprets, and records observations of production processes. In addition, Specialist Quality Control Inspector may be responsible for making recommendations to improve production process. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to supervisor. Being a Specialist Quality Control Inspector has gained full proficiency in a broad range of activities related to the job. Independently performs a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from supervisors. Working as a Specialist Quality Control Inspector typically requires 5-7 years of related experience.
