OTR Tire Service Specialist Salary in North Dakota

The OTR Tire Service Specialist mounts, demounts, balances and repairs OTR or other tires and wheels as directed. Performs tire and tire-related services for OTR (and smaller) tires at the customer's location, job site, or any other location according to customer requirements. Being an OTR Tire Service Specialist follows established procedures to inspect tires, wheels and vehicles before and after service, and notes other needed services; makes recommendations to customer. Organizes the work site, the vehicles and the appropriate tools and equipment for optimum job efficiency and safety. In addition, OTR Tire Service Specialist typically requires an associate's degree or its equivalent, and appropriate TIA/MSHA certification. Works under general supervision, making decisions independently while away from shop. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Working as an OTR Tire Service Specialist typically requires 1-3 years of related experience. May be entry level if some experience in the skill.
