The Pipeline Maintenance/Inspection Technician I troubleshoots, tests, maintains, and repairs pipeline equipment which may include valves, operators, and filtration systems. Responsible for the maintenance and correct operation of an oil or gas pipeline system. Being a Pipeline Maintenance/Inspection Technician I completes maintenance records, service reports, and other required documents. Performs periodic inspections and routine maintenance on the pipeline system. In addition, Pipeline Maintenance/Inspection Technician I requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Being a Pipeline Maintenance/Inspection Technician I may require 0-1 year of general work experience.
