Job Description

The Home Care Mental Health Aide assists patient with medications and activities of daily living skills, including personal hygiene. Provides household management activities and care for patients suffering from mental illness and developmental disabilities. Being a Home Care Mental Health Aide may be required to document progress in accordance with established procedures. Establishes a therapeutic relationship with patient and implements treatment plans under the supervision of a professional clinician. In addition, Home Care Mental Health Aide may require previous experience working with patients suffering with behavioral health disorders. Requires High School Diploma. Typically reports to supervisor or manager. Home Care Mental Health Aide's years of experience requirement may be unspecified.
