The Production Operations Scheduling Manager I designs and implements the production schedule plan considering all aspects of production include low cost, timeliness, and effectiveness. Manages production scheduling activities in an organization. Being a Production Operations Scheduling Manager I is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Monitors the materials inventories, tracking of progress of production, and reviewing of factors which affect production schedules. In addition, Production Operations Scheduling Manager I relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complex tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a unit/department head.
