Provides consultation and care for patients remotely using telemedicine technology and tools. Collaborates with nurses, specialists, and other physicians to assess and direct patients to the appropriate level of medical care delivery. Utilizes video conferencing, mobile health applications, and remote patient monitoring devices to collect and analyze health data. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires the applicable State License to Practice Medicine in the patient's state. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Years of experience may be unspecified.
