The Storage Systems Capacity/Allocation Specialist III plans, configures, troubleshoots, and implements storage systems hardware, software and procedures. Supports the organizations storage systems with capacity planning, allocation, monitoring, and actions to optimize the storage systems. Being a Storage Systems Capacity/Allocation Specialist III experienced with operating systems and Storage Area Networks (SAN) and backup solutions. Maintains efficient and reliable backup and recovery procedures. In addition, Storage Systems Capacity/Allocation Specialist III generates reports on storage usage. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Being a Storage Systems Capacity/Allocation Specialist III contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.
