The Land Surveyor, Entry performs project research, boundary calculations, and records accuracy of survey data, notes, and sketches. Surveys and investigates land surfaces to project precise measurement and location of lines, angles, points, areas, and elevations. Being a Land Surveyor, Entry may have to complete an apprenticeship, and/or formal training in area of specialty. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent in the field. In addition, Land Surveyor, Entry typically reports to a supervisor/manager. Working as a Land Surveyor, Entry typically requires 1-3 years of related experience.
