Responsible for the operations of a power generation plant during an assigned shift. Prepares work plans and worker assignments. Oversees the work of operating staff and trains new employees. Coordinates plans for service interruption, maintenance, repair, installation and overhauls. Ensures all safety protocols are followed. Documents equipment status and maintenance processes. Requires a high school diploma or technical school training. Typically reports to a manager. Supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department.
