Job Description

The Director of Consumer Insights leads insights team in market research initiatives focused on using customer, sales, brand, industry trends and other significant data in statistical analysis. Develops and directs the customer/consumer insights strategy based on business goals. Being a Director of Consumer Insights interprets research findings into actionable insights. Designs and implements qualitative and quantitative research projects and methodologies used to measure customer perceptions and satisfaction. In addition, Director of Consumer Insights provides analysis and guidance on addressing business issues and developing new products and services. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Director of Consumer Insights manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Working as a Director of Consumer Insights typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.
